So I just returned back from holiday yesterday & it seems while I was away the mid season sales have exploded!

Working in retail for a few years has completely changed my sale shopping habits. I used to be that ridiculous person that would go to Topshop for 9 0'clock on the dot on Boxing Day. Now I literally can't think of anything worse. So all hail online shopping.

I am trying very hard to stick to my pledge of only buying a couple of things a month that I'm really excited about, but it is extra hard during the sales when all the grey & white oversized basics that I gravitate to are all about £5! But so far so good, I am behaving. Although normally when I behave or do something good, I reward myself with shopping. It's a vicious cycle!

WEDDING FUN.

For anyone that knows me, you will know that I absolutely love a good wedding... bordering on wedding obsessed to be honest. I have a wedding folder saved on my desktop with all my plans in that I've been adding to for a good few years. Very sad indeed, I know.

I don't normally post 'occasion' type things, but I thought i'd share a few snaps with you. Everything about the day was so beautiful, from the venue to all the little details. It was my cousin's wedding & I adore him & his now wife, so it was an exceptionally special day. 

I had major dress stress finding something to wear, but eventually borrowed this little Topshop treasure from my good friend, who is also a treasure for lending it to me! After counting nearly 20 grey basic t-shirts on my clothes rail, I have decided to make a new pledge to myself. Instead of stocking up on basics and bits & bobs each month, I'm going to buy two or three key pieces that I really love and am excited about.

I have started by ordering this Topshop midi skirt. Usually I'd buy a grey maxi this time of the year (very boring) but I'm going to try something new. Whether it will suit me or not is another thing, but we shall see!

NEXT DOUBLE BUCKLE.

So this post is a bit of a Next appreciation post.

I used to work for Next quite a few years ago, and to be brutally honest, the brand never really excited me. Although now, I am team Next all the way. Their footwear is amazing at the moment, they have so many trendy sandals right now, and they're all around £20!(I can't believe I just used the word trendy, but there we go)
