2015'S FAVE OUTFITS

Isn't time a weird old thing.
I feel like this year has flown by, but then when I went to put this collage together I was horrified by my posts kind of pre August time! Some of the things I wore this time last year I just wouldn't wear now and most of my photos made me severely cringe. Thank goodness I saw the light and prized myself away from the old faithful self timer. How horrendous! So instead of a 2015 outfit review post, as I intended, it's now a 2015 favourite outfit post. That's ok isn't it? I'm afraid I just couldn't bare to include some of the oldies.
I would never want to delete or edit out old posts (as tempted as I was) but it just showed me how much of a journey my blog has come on in even a year. Yes I did just drop the J-bomb. Only because I'm feeling all weird and thoughtful, reminiscing on my year in clothes and blog posts. Anywho lets cut all this crap and save it for a nice deep 'reflection' post that I will no doubt write on new years day whilst feeling all hung over, full of takeaway and nostalgia.

Over and out & lets see what 2016 has to hold! Less jeans I hope.

TEDDY BEAR

H&M Teddy Coat (similar) | have Best Zelda Crossbody Bag c/o | Topshop Boots (similar)

MERRY CHRISTMAS Y'ALL!

I hope you had a magical time, I nearly ate a whole wheel of brie in 2 days and now I feel horrendous.

Working partly in retail I don't really get much of a break this time of year, but I did have Christmas Eve off and this is what I wore. #OOTD Christmas edition if you will.
Shock horror, Josh hadn't finished his Christmas shopping, so we took a trip into town. It was a bit rainy and windy, hence the hair touching and grumpy face. Josh also said my coat smelt like a wet dog, but other than that I had a lovely old time. We went for a massive fried breakfast before shopping and I literally don't think I've stopped eating since.
I'm obsessed by this jacket by the way. I found it in the H&M sale for like £29 and I don't think I've taken it off since. I've been oogling over teddy style coats for a while now so I'm glad I've finally found one. It is super oversized and the sleeves could probably fit 4 of my arms in each, but I kinda like it. My theory is that it makes me legs look thinner (although I don't think that's entirely true.)

I blogged a little while ago about my beloved Callie Bag from Have Best and this little clutch is my latest addition from their website. It reminds me of one that I pined over from Zara for ages, but couldn't quite justify... I think it was over 100 squids... so at £15 this bad boy is an absolute steal! I'll probably take it for its second outing on New Year to.

Peace out for now

ASOS CHRISTMAS SALE PICKS

I'm not going to lie, because lying is bad. Last night, to my delight, I received the email I had been longing for. The mother of all Christmas emails; the Asos sale had launched. I logged into my saved items quicker than you can say "Nut roast with cranberry sauce", but my opened mouth smile turned quickly into a big frown when none of my items had gone in, and were talking at least 20 items that I had saved for the big day. Gutted. Also, a jumper I had been really wanting had gone out of stock. Double gutted.
So last night I sat in my blanket, crossed legged, Made in Chelsea on scrolling through pages and pages of the sale. It didn't take long before I found some corkers and my saved items turned from 20 to about 50, so the smile returned. These are my top picks. I've had my eye on those Western boots for a little while, but unlucky for me they're out of stock in my size. Someone obviously really doesn't want me to shop at the moment!
So grab yourself some bargies before I have a few glasses of wine tonight and add them all to my bag!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

ALTERNATIVE CHRISTMAS PARTY OUTFIT

Topshop Boutique Dress (alternative colour) | Topshop Mules | Have Best Bucket bag | Missguided Camel Coat

I've got my work Christmas party coming up this weekend, so as all girls do, I've been pre planning what I'm going to wear. I've titled this post an 'alternative' Christmas party outfit, because it's not your typical glitzy, sparkly little festive number... because that is just not me! I literally cant think of anything worse than wearing a sequined bodycon dress. Don't get me wrong, that sort of thing looks amazing on some people, but it makes me feel like Pete Burns. If you don't know who that is, get on Google right now. So instead I've gone for a more casual Topshop Boutique stripe sweater dress. I actually had my eye on this little bad boy for a while, but it went out of stock pretty much as soon as it came in. Eventually, to my delight, I did manage to get my hands on one and this is a great excuse to wear it out. I'm going to pair it with my fave little Topshop mules and my trusty Missguided camel coat. I'll probably do a nice dark vampy mac lipstick to, I love a dark lip in the winter!
