WHAT A GOOD FRIDAY.

 

So yesterday was good Friday & I had a very rare day off with my work buddy, & more importantly very close friend, Emilei. She is a very tallented graphic designer/textile printer/artist & with a lot of hard work has just started her own T.shirt brand, Carbon Wings Apparel.  On the second little picture we were in Pizza Express for lunch trying out her new Carbon Wings logo stamp for her labels. I love little touches like this, & im very proud & excited for her. So i will be featuring some of her lovely designs very soon!

 

I also got a few new little hair / make-up bits. I got some samples from the clarins counter because i get really concious of my eye area lately! Im so paranoid about wrinkles, which is probably silly because im only 23... but you know what its like! I'm also going to try the famous YSL Touch Eclat, it's supposed to be the bomb digity so we shall see!

I LOVE ASOS.

 

 

 

Just thought i'd show you my new Asos jersey jumpsuit. It literally is the comfiest thing ever! The only 2 downsides are 1... My boyfriend is going to absolutely hate it.

2... It's not so handy when you need a tinkle on these cold winter days & have to take the whole thing off!

...But other than that it's my new bezzie mate! You can get one here, & i honestly think you should snap one up! I got a couple more bits with my Asos order, i got this bikini for my hols & this big yellow tee. I fricken love Asos! 

My nail varnish is Barry M 'berry ice ceam", & my necklace is Topshop, but it's very old!

DAILY MAKE-UP BAG.

 

 

 

 

 

Hello there!

I thought i'd do a cheeky little post to show you the make-up i wear daily. Im a really girly girl & i like to have a nosey at other peoples fave make-up... so this is mine.

Rimell eyebrow pencil. 

Rimmel gel eye liner.  

Clinque blush.

No7 'stay perfect' foundation in deeply beige.  

No7 'beautifully matte' foundation. 

Mac Bronzer.  

Mac select sheer powder in NC30.  

Vaseline aloe vera lip theropy tin.  

Mac 'prep & prime' primer.  

 Soap & Glory brush. 

No7 illuminator.  

Mac studio fix boldblack lash mascara.  

 ( I also wear a natuaral collection white eyeliner but i cut it off... woopsie!)

One of my favourite items i use every morning is my No7 radiance boosting illuminator. You cant see it very well in the photos of my face, but it gives such a nice glow around the eyes & makes you feel really dewy and fresh! I'd deffinately recommend it. 

I literally have tried such a range of mascaras over the years & am currently using this Mac one. I have sadly not been blessed with very long or curly eyelashes, so i've always been in search of some miricle product! My favourite i've ever used has been L'Oreal telescopic , & i will go back to that one when my Mac one runs out... i haven't really been overly impressed with any Mac mascaras, although i do love their face products.  The prep & prime primer i use is so gorgeous & velvetty (is that a word?)

I'm off work ill today for the first time since i've been there! I'm paying the ultimate price for wearing cut out boots all though the winter and i have got a toe & foot infection. Bizzare i know! I think i'll stick to my converse for a while when i can walk on it again!

SHOOTING.

 

I styled a little photoshoot yesterday so i thought i'd just share a few behind the scenesy photos with you. It was more conceptual & than i usually plan, but it's really nice to be able to get to work on different styles with different peoples ideas. It was heavily focused on accessories which i really enjoyed... theres so many great statment pieces of jewellery out there at the moment. I wont get the final images for a couple of weeks but when i do i shall put them up.

I fricken love Cos.

As i said... i am currently on a self inforced shopping ban. I went into Cos the other day & im just obsessed with everything about it at the moment... the merchandising, the lookbooks, the branding & the product are just insanely beautiful. 

I cannot wait to go on a good spree there once my ban is lifted.

So an actual miricle happened at the weekend. 

I have just booked a holiday, i've got an accessories photoshoot on monday, & i am also trying to save up for a house, so i have put myself on a bit of a shopping ban for a month or 2. However... when my friend asked me to go to Westfield shopping centre, i thought it was going to be like taking an alcoholic to happy hour at wetherspoons. It was difficult, very very difficult, but I DIDN'T BUY ONE THING! NOT ONE MOTHER CHUFFING THING! I was so proud of myself and believe me it took all of my will power, but i did it!

 So instead i have put together some of the things that i saw, loved & resisted! & also some other bits i have had my beedy eye on.

Well done me.

I LOVE A BIT OF MONOCHROME!

My new favourite colour is this kind of indigo electric blue and i think it looks absolutely amazing against black & white, so this is my ideal monochrome mix outfit. Dungarees & jumpsuits are also high on my agender at the moment. I may loose a few followers after i declare this ... but i saw one of One Directions girlfriends wearing an amazing pair of grey tailored Topshop dungarees at LFW & i fell in love (with the dungarees). Her ones are currently out of stock god dammit, but ive been in search of some smiliar.

I wore the 2 nail Varnishes above together yesterday. The confetti topcoat is absolutely banging. Here i am having a little coffee up Primrose Hill, I love that place!
