TOM FORD SPLODGES.

 

I had this strange urge on Sunday to do a bit of art. I wanted to do something a bit different from my normal fashion illustrations... but still fashion based. It resulted in this fricken weird ink splodge thingmejig, which I tried to do a sort of abstract representaion of Tom Ford's Autumn/Winter 2013 collection. I thought his take on the monochrome trend was really punchy and exciting. A lot of designers went for the more simplistic look, which I equally appreciate, but Tom's just stands out... for obvious reasons.

Maybe I will do some more for other collections. Although I don't know if i like it or it is completely shit. I just dont know.

NEW TINGS.

 

Just a quickie to show you some new tings I got shopping the other day. You can't see it very well but I love my little New Look crop top. It's a textured triangle print & is such a nice fit and length, & I love the high neck. It's just the style i've been wanting to wear under jackets. Also you've got to try Lush Tea Tree water! So so refreshing! 

Sorry for the lack of posts lately. My dearest Muma is a teacher & has been on half term, so any free time I have had off work I have been spending with her... cos shes the best! I'm also a bit bitter i couldn't go to Fashion Week, so i have had the hump. I'm deffinately going to be there for the shoes in September!

You may or may not know, I am a right big old Dr Martens fan, so heres a few of my new faves. I have wanted the Flora chelsea boots for an absolute age, I literally dream about them (sad i know), but unlucky for me everywhere is out of my size at the moment. I shall have to dream on.

Agyness Deyn is going to be doing a new collection for them this month as well, which im sure will be banging.

I tell you what i literally cannot contain my exciement about MTWTFSS Weekday launching their online store. I have declared my undying love for them in quite a few of my posts before, but have never been able to get my little hands on the goods... until now.

I just can't say enough good words about the brand. They're stylish, chic, have key pieces and amazing basics and whats more their products are so affordable! Because their website is in the early stages they're adding more everyday, so i just keep piling up my shopping basket! Postage is £6 which is a bit on the pricey side, however they are shipped from abroad and with the clothes being so reasonable you cant really argue. So im waiting to get a whole bunch at once!

 I'm deffinately going to order the Formiga Printed sweater, and another one of my faves it this little burnout dress. 

 

It'll look so cute with some boyish chelsea boots, a bowler hat and some bright lippy and nail varnish. 

Oh i am just so pleased!
