HAVE BEST CALLIE BAG

When I came across the Have Best Instagram page, I had to blink a few times to check this real leather beaut of a bag was actually only £18. I have to admit, I was a little bit dubious and thought it might be a 'too good to be true' situation, but when it arrived I was instantly in love. I am a firm fan of a bucket bag anyway, but this little bad boy ticks all my boxes. It really is such amazing quality and has the most gorgeous detailing in the form of the gold padlock and key to fasten it. It also has the ever so handy detachable long strap and inner zip pouch, which is always a nice little bonus. I always have to separate my phone using some kind of pouch otherwise it gets lost amongst all the cutlery, hair ties and various receipts floating about... (yes I do carry cutlery)

The Callie bag also comes in red, tan & nude, at £18 I think I will be investing in them all. The nude is certainly next on my list.

SUFFOLK BLOGGER MEET UP

Yesterday I went to the Suffolk Blogger Meet Up Event, organised by the wonderful Daisy from DaisyDaisy.co.uk. I've never been to a meet up like this before, so wasn't really sure what to expect, but I cannot stress how much hard work Daisy put into every single detail. From the most amazing looking trays of Hotel Chocolat chocolates & various coconut waters on every table, to super cute cookies and a whole load of miniature candles to help yourself to. The gorgeous Lucy from Lucys Henna, was also there & worked her magic on me with the little bad boy in the photo above. By the time I left the venue I was barely able to walk, mainly because the chocolate liquors had at least a shot of whisky in each one, but also because the goody bags were so massive. It felt just like a bizarre Christmas morning where a really camp Santa had left me cosmetics and skin care a'plenty!

I went all by myself (queue Celine Dion) but met so many lovely bloggers. Mary Ann from Angel Flicks Beauty Blog, was an absolute dream and we had so much fun chatting away. I don't want to sounds like a soppy old sausage, but it's so nice to be in a room full of people that don't know each other, but all have something in common to talk about. It's so refreshing, and one of the reasons I love blogging so much (besides it being an excuse to shop!) is that is really is such a supportive little community. Like the Amish, but more fashionable and with a lot more social media involved.

My favourite home ware brand Ivy Joan was also there, you can probably tell I'm a slight fan by the fact that most of my photos are of the Ivy Joan stand. I've posted about my love for Ivy Joan before, which if you didn't see you can have a sneaky peak right here. If you haven't started your Christmas shopping yet this website is the most perfect place for one off and personalised gifts. They have everything from the cutest wooden letters (which are only £3!) to vintage furniture and playing card wall art. The personalised baubles are a fave of mine, they're going straight in my basket! As well as home ware, they also stock vintage and high street clothing from Neon Rose & Vero Moda. I used to work at Vero Moda & had such a great time there, so it has a fond place in my little heart. It's a Danish brand, and you don't really see it stocked in many places over here, so Ivy Joan is now my go to place to get my Vero Moda fix!

So to conclude, thank you Daisy for a fab day... I hope there will be many more to come!

BLUE SKY SUNDAYS

Today is the most beautiful cold, crisp, blue sky kinda day. I feel like I turn into a bit of a hippy on days like this, like I have become 'one with nature'. I'm lucky enough to live near a lot of beautiful villages and countryside where the smells and sights in Autumn are just the best thing ever. The trees go all golden, and in the evening you can smell peoples wood burners blowing smoke out their chimneys. Ooh crikey, I've got a warm fuzzy feeling just writing this! May I dare to say... I might even feel a bit festive!!
Is it too early to pop a bit of Slade on Spotify?!

Judging from this and my last post, I have become quite fond of camel jumpers. Very big camel jumpers at that. This Asos one really tickles me' fancy. On the website it's worn as a dress,  which looks gorgeous on the model, but I decided to pair with denim and jackets for a bit more of a winter layered look. I think it may be a while before I get my pins out again!

I hope whatever you're doing on this beautiful day, that you are having a blast.

AUTUMN DAYS

Today feels super Autumny, and this time of year I love nothing more than a super big jumper and a constant flow of tea. In my favourite mug, may I add! I'm a bit obsessed about anything with an initial on at the moment, to the point I've been tempted to buy some actual light up initials... but maybe that's a bit much, I don't want my living room to look like a wedding reception.
I do apologise for the nesty hair & my pet hate of sunglasses indoors! Who do I think I am, Neyo? This was though, for the sole purpose that I am having a no make-up day to rest my weary lashes. Something I try to do on my days off. I also try not to do anything with my hair to give it a rest, hence the 'hun' giving the front of my hair a break from straightening. My hair is in a dreadful condition at the moment, I really need to find a miracle potion to revive it... so any suggestion would be most welcome!
