ASOS PAY DAY WISH LIST

If you know me or follow my blog, it will be no surprise to you that the first place I visit on payday is Asos. Scanning through my saved list to pick which treats will brighten my door way this week. If I had my way it would be all these delights, but I have gone and ordered the long line tee (which also comes in black) and that gorgeous striped skirt, which I saw in the Asos mag and hurriedly tracked down. I'm very very temped by the Warehouse skirt as well, even more so after seeing it on the very gorgeous Hannah Crosskey from A Fashion Fix.  Although, I think it might be out of stock in my size, which could be a blessing is disguise for old banky bankerson.
No doubt there will be an outfit post of my purchases to follow soon!

ASOS HANDMADE

Forget about Prada,  Miu Miu and D&G, when it comes to sunnies one of my very favourite brands is the Asos Handmade range. If you follow me on Instagram you will have seen numerous appearances from my bad boys, and I'm so in love with them that I'm really temped to purchase another cheeky pair. They just tick all my boxes; oversized, chunky and tortoise shell... what's not to love! They also look and feel so much more expensive than they are, they really could pass for a £200 designer pair.
So the moral of this post, is I strongly advise you invest in a pair for Spring/Summer.

SECONDTHREAD

If you haven't already checked out Second Thread  then tomorrow, when their Spring collection launches, is the day to do so!
I was lucky enough to have a sneaky peak at the range, and amongst all the gorgeous pieces I picked out this tailored jumpsuit. It is just the sort of thing I've been after for ages and it ticks all my boxes. It's a perfect staple piece for the utility trend (complete with d-ring) mixed with chic and feminine details in the form of a strapless top and nipped in silhouette.
This is the sort of thing I would be likely to wear on a night out. I'm not much of a dress/skirt person, so pairing this beauty with my suede fringed jacket and some black barely there sandals is definitely more up my street.

If you would also like to have a peak at what's to come tomorrow, and all the rest of the Second Thread goings on, then you can follow them on Insagram @secondthreadoffical

COACHELLA WHAT?

So while my Instagram feed is flooded with fringed garments, skinny brown legs and palm trees I have been on a mini break to Center Parcs, where it was more pine cones, native British birds and copious amounts of Prosecco... but honestly, it could not have been more what I needed. To say I have been stressed lately is an understatement, I'm talking stomach cramps and tears. Nasty. So spending a long weekend away eating, drinking (a lot) and laughing in the sunshine with my loved ones has really done me the world of good.
Who needs Coachella hey?

A TOUCH OF THE POCAHONTAS

I went for a cheeky little shop the other day and was wandering round Zara feeling very uninspired, which is not like me at all. Usually I get in that store door and am all over that shiz.
Then it happened.
I spotted this little delight hiding in the corner. It's not really very me at all to be honest, I mean it's not grey for a start, but I was immediately drawn to it. I practically ran to the fitting rooms with the hanger clutched in my hand as though someone was going to approach me and steal it. Why do we do that? Or is it just me? Anyway, I loved it even more on and it is now mine all mine. I can't wait to wear it in the summer to, I think it'll look a dream over a pair on vintage levis. What a treasure.
